David founded the Academy in 2017 in association with Golf Channel Academy where he was a featured on-air instructor. Golf Digest magazine ranks David among the “Ten Best Teachers” in Illinois.

He has assembled an elite team of coaches in Illinois and Florida, equipped with the technology tools to provide a personalized learning experience for adults and juniors of all skill levels.

His student successes include active players on the PGA tour, LPGA tour plus top ranked collegiate and high school players. He has been a Class A PGA member since 1995. Previously David was the Director of Golf Operations at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club responsible for merchandising, tournament operations and corporate event planning.

Prior to that, he owned Piper Glen Golf Club in Springfield, IL and was Head Golf Professional at St. Charles Country Club from 1997- 2007.

Ben joins us with 11 years of experience playing and coaching at the NAIA and NJCAA college level. Most recently he spent 5 years as the head of Mount Mercy University, where in his final year took his team to the NAIA national championship and a national team ranking of 17 in the country. He was also the assistant coach of the #1 ranked NJCAA D2 team in the country for 2 years prior to becoming a head coach.

Growing up in England Ben also competed in regional and county level amateur tournaments overseas before coming to the US for college. He achieved individual and team victories at all levels and continues to play when he’s not coaching. Ben now plans to start his PGA teaching career and earn certification. He most recently became a certified US Kids Golf Levels 1 and 2 coach.

Coach Brooke has had a golf club in her hands since childhood, learning the
game from her dad and quickly discovering a true passion for it. She competed
throughout high school, qualifying for state as an individual, and later continued
her playing career at North Central College.

Golf has helped shape her both personally and professionally, giving her
confidence, valuable life lessons, and strengths she carries into her career and
beyond.

Now, she’s excited to help others experience the joy of the sport and develop a
skill they can enjoy for a lifetime.

Aleksa is a senior at North Central College where she is on the Women’s Golf Team and was recognized as Academic All-CCIW.

Aleksa first started laying golf 7 years ago with Coach David Impastato and has helped coach LPGA Girls Golf at the academy!

Majoring in Elementary Education, she is passionate about teaching and mentoring your athletes. She is thrilled to help out this summer and share the joy of the game of golf!
